Increasing energy demands, concerns over climate change and limited supplies of fossil fuels mean that we need to find new, cleaner ways of powering the planet. All stars including our sun are powered by a process known as nuclear fusion, combining the nucleii of light elements such as hydrogen together to produce vast amounts of energy. We are getting closer to being able to recreate this process on earth and when we do, it will be an end to the issues caused by the mass releasing of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere and the beginning of an age of unlimited, clean energy.

We at The Libertarian Ltd are committed to helping make fusion the power source for the planet and have decided to dedicate funds, energy and passion into the industry.

More about fusion:

The fusion process involves combining the nucleii of light elements such as hydrogen together to make heavier elements such as helium. This process releases an enormous amount of energy: In the main type of fusion being researched currently, 100 grams of fuel (the weight of an apple) could produce enough energy to power an average household for 5 years. The fuel is abundant - it occurs naturally in water (as an isotope of hydrogen) and if we were to continue our current annual energy consumption it would take about 2.5 trillion years to use up the earth’s supply.
