We are a family-owned property company based in London Bridge. Incorporated in 1977 as DDS Ltd, the company acquired a number of commercial properties in central London, many of which we still own and manage. Since Nick Riley took ownership of the business we have increased our commercial portfolio and diversified into residential development and letting of high-end apartments in London.

We are 100% family owned so our sole priority is with our tenants rather than external investors. We always strive to provide the most stress-free transition into your new home or office space and take pride in being open, flexible and responsive to all of our tenants’ requirements throughout their tenancy.
We have a hands on approach where you will always have a direct line of communication with us. Rather than taking a formal and corporate line when dealing with enquiries, we recognise that this can cost our tenants valuable time and money and would always prefer to resolve any issues in the quickest way possible.
Who are we?

Nick started in the business from an early age, working initially as a labourer renovating many of the properties owned by The Libertarian now.
He graduated with a Masters in mechanical engineering in 2000 and spent the following years working as a Project Engineer/Manager for Tyco Infrastructure and Bovis Lend Lease in Australia. He assumed the role of director and company secretary of The Libertarian in 2009 and has steered the business towards the acquisition of further property and the modernisation of the existing stock.

Emma has been involved in The Libertarian since 2009 and is responsible for HR, media and executive management.
Emily Logan, Design Manager – emily@libertarian.uk.com
Emily is responsible for project management of all of the design elements of our properties, managing internal and external finishes and furnishings in both commercial and residential areas of The Libertarian, as well as the refurbishment and redesign of our own office. Having worked with us for many years as a contractor, she joined the company on a permanent basis in 2022.

Ian is partnered with The Libertarian in The Libertarian Residential LLP. Ian manages the residential development projects through the entire life cycle from feasibility and financing, through to development and final letting.
